Rawdah ("App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

Location Data
- Prayer Times: We collect your approximate location (latitude/longitude) to calculate accurate prayer times for your area.
- How it's used: Location is used only to fetch prayer times from the Aladhan API and is NOT stored on our servers.
- Storage: Location data is cached locally on your device only.
User Account Information
- Email & Password: Only if you choose to create an account with email.
- Google Account: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email.
- How it's used: For account authentication via Firebase Authentication.
- Storage: Stored securely in Firebase (Google's service).
Usage Data
- Prayer Status: Your marked prayer completions (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha).
- Reading Progress: Quran reading position and preferences.
- Community Participation: Information about Hatim rooms you join.
- How it's used: To provide personalized features and track your progress.
- Storage: Stored locally on your device (IndexedDB) and optionally synced to Firebase if you're logged in.
Device Information
- Device Type: Android/iOS identifier.
- App Version: Current version of Rawdah you're using.
- How it's used: To improve app compatibility and performance.
- Storage: Not stored; used only for analytics.

- Calculate and display accurate prayer times
- Send prayer reminders and Adhan notifications
- Enable community features (Hatim rooms, Quran reading groups)
- Allow you to track your prayer completion
- Provide multi-language support (Turkish, English, Arabic, German, French, Indonesian, Urdu)
- Improve app performance and user experience
- Comply with legal requirements
4. Data Sharing
We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal information.
Your data is shared only with:
- Google Firebase: For authentication and optional cloud storage (only if you sign in).
- Aladhan API: For prayer time calculations (receives only your coordinates, not your identity).
- Law enforcement: Only when legally required.
5. Data Security
- Firebase's built-in encryption for online data
- Local device storage encryption (device-level)
- Secure HTTPS connections for all API calls
- No storage of sensitive data like passwords (handled by Firebase)
6. Your Rights
- Access: View what data we have about you.
- Delete: Request deletion of your account and all associated data. Delete your account here.
- Opt-out: Disable location sharing, notifications, or cloud sync anytime.
- Export: Download your prayer history and settings.
7. Children's Privacy
Rawdah is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Parents/guardians can request deletion of a child's account at any time.
